What is the required accuracy for the HVAC differential pressure sensor?
Differential Pressure Sensor Frequently Asked Questions
Any HVAC manager should look for a sensor that delivers high accuracy, fine resolution, and excellent repeatability, because AHU (Air Handling Units) and ventilation systems rely on small, stable pressure differences. A suitable performance target is accuracy around ±1 to 2Pa and resolution below 0.1Pa, allowing the device to detect small airflow or filter performance changes. Repeatability should be strong as well, ideally better than ±0.05Pa of drift per year to ensure stable long-term monitoring without frequent recalibration.
